    Join the remarkable team of marketing professionals at Coborn's, Inc. We're seeking an innovative and dynamic individual to join our team as the Email Marketing Specialist! This position will be based in New Hope, Minnesota near Minneapolis.


    The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing campaigns in support of our business objectives.  This includes the creation, QA and analysis of email campaigns, segment campaigns, forms and landing pages within the company’s email platforms.  Additionally, this role maintains a current understanding of email marketing and applies them to campaign development and communications tactics.


    A day in the life of the Email Marketing Specialist may include:

    • Building email campaigns, including targeted segment emails, correlating forms and/or landing pages on websites.
    • Performing day to day email marketing activities including, but not limited to email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time promotional, recurring, triggered or dynamic content-driven campaigns.
    • Trouble-shooting technical issues related to HTML templates, responsive design, email testing, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution as required.
    • Staying abreast of and recommends email best practices in coding, design and testing of email campaigns, competitive landscape analysis and industry trends to recommend new marketing tactics
    • Assisting with campaign performance analysis and reporting

    • Post-secondary education required with a university/college or technical degree in marketing or web design.
    • A minimum of four years “hands-on” work experience creating email marketing campaigns within an enterprise email marketing platform (i.e. Exact Target, Responsys, Watson Campaign Automation, etc.)
    • Proven expertise in email marketing automation and deployment
    • Proficiency in email marketing practices
    • Experience using email delivery tools
    • Ability to troubleshoot coding problems

    Computer Skills

    • Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS experience required. Background knowledge in PHP, Javascript, xml, HTML5 and/or CSS3 preferred. Knowledge of other web technologies and digital photography preferred.
    • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
    • Strong understanding of email and web site best practices, browser limitations and search engine optimization.
    • Proficient in the MAC and PC environments and familiar with iOS and Android platforms.
    • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and email systems.
