    Join the marketing team at Coborn's! We're seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Web Designer! This position can be based in our St. Cloud, Minnesota or New Hope, Minnesota office. 

    Responsibilities

    The primary focus of this position is to create and execute a wide range of projects and marketing programs, ensuring that they are consistent with the company's brand and design standards. Duties of this position require a varying degree of independent judgment and decision making to take projects from concept to launch. This position is responsible for the design of web communications, including emails, and websites, copyedit and proofread all web content, and other various tasks as required. Coordinates and verifies accuracy and completeness of promotions, advertised specials and other digital content that is published through the company’s multiple digital platforms including websites and email-marketing channels, social media channels, etc.

     

    All duties to be performed according to the established standard and in compliance with all company policies and procedures while maintaining regular, prompt attendance and availability to work outside of standard business hours as needed:

    • Design website content, including the design and production of layout, graphics and images for company websites and intranet. Copyedit and proofread all web content.
    • Design and develop targeted emails and banner ads, each with unique messages and promotions targeting specific customer segments.  Take these projects from concept to launch, including coding, implementing, and testing their own work in multiple e-mail clients and browsers.
    • Convert all existing images and files to web ready version.
    • Remain current with emerging technologies and new media through relevant research, blogs, and events.
    • Coordinate web projects across departments within the company
    • Perform other duties within the Advertising/Marketing Department or other areas as assigned.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Observe and enforce all company policies, rules, and safety practices.
    • Attend company and department meetings.

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience

    • Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience in website design or related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years of web development and design experience with strong graphic design experience in managing corporate communications, consumer marketing and brand management.

    Computer Skills

    • Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS experience required. Background knowledge in PHP, Javascript, xml, HTML5 and/or CSS3 preferred. Knowledge of other web technologies and digital photography preferred.
    • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
    • Strong understanding of web site best practices, web browser limitations and search engine optimization.
    • Proficient in the MAC and PC environments and familiar with iOS and Android platforms.
    • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and email systems.
