    As an employee of Coborn's, Inc. the A/P Processor II will process and match cost of goods sold to the receiving file.  This individual is responsible for reconciling invoices and reviewing weekly statements, reporting pricing and quantity discrepancies to the purchasing and receiving departments, monthly reconciliation of the GRIR general ledger account, and cross training the A/P team.     Responsibilities

    All duties to be performed according to the established standard and in compliance with all company policies and procedures while maintaining regular, prompt attendance and availability for overtime as needed:

    • Process and match cost of goods sold vendor invoices to the receiving file; validate and send data to the A/P subledger.
    • Reconcile SUPERVALU invoices to the receipts file and balance to the weekly SUPERVALU statement.
    • Reconcile clearing account Goods Received Invoice Received (GRIR) to the general ledger weekly, and resolve aged items within the policy timeline.
    • Upload invoice header and detail files. Validate update log daily to ensure all vendor and store files are properly loaded into the A/P subledger. Partner with IT on files that have not properly loaded.
    • Report pricing variances to pricing and purchasing team weekly; analyze trends and summarize results.
    • Investigate and resolve vendor inquiries and provide appropriate follow-up and/or resolution.
    • Review vendor statements addressing aged items.
    • Facilitate efficient issuance of A/P check and ACH payments. Assist with A/P month-end close ensuring that critical deadlines are met.

    Education/Experience

    • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Ability

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance, instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

    Math Ability

    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    Reasoning Ability

    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Computer Skills

    • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and email systems.
    • Working knowledge of Accounting systems and software.
