As an employee of Coborn's, Inc., the Loss Control Officers’ primary focus is to conduct store surveillance leading to detection and apprehension of suspected shoplifters. This part-time position works from 12-30 hours per week, in 4-hour shifts scheduled primarily during daytime and early evening hours. Some weekends are required, and scheduling is flexible. This individual is responsible for conducting store surveillance, documenting activity, apprehending and detaining subjects.
This position requires occasional travel to additional stores for coverage in the geographic area.

The Loss Control Officer typically requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess a current state driver’s license and valid insurance with the ability to travel to business locations as needed. Candidates must be at least 21 years old. Must be able to pass a criminal history background check and credit check.
